Glen Roberson, DMD

Program Director, Associate Professor

Dr. Roberson graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), New Jersey Dental School as valedictorian in 2004. During his dental training, he was the recipient of many awards and a member of many honor societies.

Following graduation from dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency Program at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ, followed by a full-time associateship in Hillsborough, NJ. Dr. Roberson furthered his education by enrolling in the Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency Program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine. While there, he performed his duties as a resident, as well as numerous additional duties such as class president, course director and teacher for the undergraduate orthodontics class, as well as a member of various committees. During his residency, he successfully completed the written portion of his American Board of Orthodontics Examination, which makes him board eligible. Upon graduation, Dr. Roberson honed his skills as an orthodontist by working as an associate at a practice in Reno, NV.

In January 2010, Dr. Roberson joined Roseman as a full-time faculty member in the Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO) Residency Program. He was appointment Program Director in 2021.

Dr. Roberson is currently an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO), and American Dental Education Association (ADEA).

Kimberly Jones-Rudolph, DMD
Clinic Director, Associate Professor of Dental Medicine

Dr. Kimberly Jones-Rudolph is Clinic Director and Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. She relocated to Nevada from Pennsylvania where she worked as a private practice orthodontist for 15 years. She graduated with Clinical Honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with her Doctor of Medical Dentistry and was honored to be selected to research specific areas of oral health at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Jones-Rudolph taught as a faculty member at the University of Tennessee and the University of Florida College of Dentistry while earning additional degrees. She completed three years of orthodontic specialty training and her PhD studies in Health Policy at the University of Tennessee. Prior to that she earned a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Management and Policy and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and participated in a Dental Public Health residency at the University of Florida.

Dr. Jones-Rudolph (Dr. JR as she is called) is a former Peace Corps volunteer who served in Niger, West Africa. She has been awarded the Hotchkiss Community Service Award for her tireless volunteerism dedicated to improving oral health and access to care for the underserved. She has served as Vice-President of the Board for Smiles Change Lives, a non-profit organization that works to provide orthodontic care to children who cannot otherwise afford it. She served as Girl Scout leader for eleven years and has coached community youth soccer and volleyball for many years. Dr. Jones-Rudolph was awarded by the Florida Dental Association for her contributions to the field of dentistry. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics. She has three adult children and is married to a Periodontist/Implant Surgeon and dotes on her two dogs both of whom were adopted from the SPCA.

Richard M. Stevens, DMD. MBA
Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine

Dr. Stevens first became interested in orthodontics while in high school and his orthodontic treatment was being completed. He was managing a gas station and doing mechanical work, but his orthodontist encouraged him to become an orthodontist. Dr. Stevens graduated from the University of Utah in Medical Biology, and completed his professional training in Boston at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Stevens is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is a founding member and Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists. He has been active in several national, regional, state and local professional societies. Highlights include service as President of the Nevada State Society of Orthodontists, President of the Northeast Nevada Dental Society, and founding member and Vice-President of the Association of Lingual & Esthetic Orthodontists.

Some of Dr. Stevens’ professional contributions include publishing several papers on orthodontics, including topics on lingual appliances, adult orthodontics, and early treatment. Teaching review courses for the orthodontic section of the National Board Exams to dental students from Tufts, Harvard and Boston Universities, lab instructor for the orthodontic courses in the dental school curriculum at Tufts, and presenting clinical and continuing professional education courses. Dr. Stevens has also taught courses in all levels of rock climbing at Great Basin Community College, has been active in supporting Boy Scouts of America and other youth organizations that build character and integrity in young men and young women. To better serve the resident doctors and the patients at Roseman Dental’s orthodontic clinic, in 2019 Dr. Stevens Completed his MBA at Independence University/Stevens-Henager College.

Dr. Stevens finds orthodontics an interesting and progressive specialty that provides a very beneficial service. Dr. Stevens feels that the orthodontist is in an ideal position to reinforce a positive outlook on life as well as help patients gain greater self-confidence which can lead to improved relations in the social and employment arenas. The main reason Dr. Stevens specialized in orthodontics is because it provides a unique opportunity to do something for others, which will have a beneficial effect throughout their lives.

Outside his professional endeavors, Dr. Stevens enjoys acting as a subject matter expert and consultant in legal, clinical, and business matters. He is active in his church and spends as much time as he can outdoors with family and friends camping, climbing, hiking, hunting, fishing, water and snow skiing, motorcycling, cycling, and in the shooting sports. Mechanics, metal & wood working, and refurbishing items are additional interests.

Calvin Heinrich, DDS
Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine

Dr. Heinrich has practiced orthodontics for almost fifty years and has thoroughly enjoyed teaching the orthodontic specialty since 2008. He completed his dental training at Temple University of School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA in 1968. He then entered the United States Air Force with the rank of captain and served as a dentist in the Air Training Command for two years. Upon completing his service, he entered orthodontic specialty training at the Center For Advanced Dental Education: SLU. He was honored when his graduate thesis was nominated for the Milo Helman Award which is an annual award given for outstanding orthodontic research by the American Association of Orthodontists.

In 1975, Dr. Heinrich attended the world-famous Tweed Orthodontic Course in Tucson, Arizona. He then joined the Charles H. Tweed International Foundation which provided a great opportunity for him to hone his orthodontic expertise through the 1970s and 1980s.

In 1984 Dr. Heinrich took the rigorous written examination offered by the American Board of Orthodontics and presented fifteen fully documented cases, complete with two-year retention records to the Board. At that presentation, the candidate seeking certification, must present excellently treated cases and undergo a strict verbal examination defending and explaining their treatment of each case. He was granted Board certification and joined the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists.

Through his many years in orthodontic practice, he has enjoyed attending over sixty-five annual international and sectional meetings of the American Association of Orthodontics during which he could usually could be found listening intently and taking notes on the front row of the lecture rooms. In 1993 Dr. Heinrich had a clinical article published in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics regarding a unique orthodontic appliance he had invented.

Dr. Heinrich is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr Heinrich served as president of his local dental society in Pennsylvania and represented his dental district to the Pennsylvania Dental Association.

After practicing for over thirty years, he and his wife, Claire, moved to Las Vegas. The major reasons for their move were for Dr. Heinrich to have the opportunity to teach orthodontics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and, to be closer to their three children, all of whom lived in the west. He began teaching at UNLV in 2008. He also continued private orthodontic practice here in Las Vegas.

Dr. Heinrich has always been a dedicated student of the latest techniques and advances that have been developed in the specialty of orthodontics and he used those innovations in treating over ten thousand patients in his career. He truly loves teaching because it provides an opportunity for him to share the great wealth of orthodontic knowledge and expertise he has gained over his many years of dedicated specialty practice. In 2019 Dr. Heinrich was very pleased to join the faculty of Roseman University of Health Sciences where he was welcomed as a valued faculty member.

Karthikeyan Subramani, BDS, MSc, MS
Associate Professor of Dental Medicine

Dr. Karthikeyan Subramani received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University (India) and a Master of Science degree from University of Newcastle upon Tyne (United Kingdom) in Biomedical Nanotechnology. Following this, Dr. Subramani was involved in the International Team for Implantology (ITI) funded research projects in Switzerland, the Netherlands and in the USA on guided bone regeneration and implant biomaterial research. He later completed a fellowship program in Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY) prior to completing his Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency Program and at the same institution in 2015.

During his education at the University of Kentucky, he was involved in the American Association of Orthodontics Foundation (AAOF) funded research project leading to a second Master of Science degree. Dr. Subramani was the recipient of the prestigious 2006 Andre Schroeder Research Prize from Straumann (Switzerland) for his innovative research findings during his Biomedical Nanotechnology degree program in the United Kingdom. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed original research and review manuscripts and has authored numerous book chapters. Dr. Subramani is the editor for two textbooks, “Emerging Nanotechnologies in Dentistry” (Foreword by Nobel Laureate Sir. Harold W Kroto) and “Nanobiomaterials in Clinical Dentistry” published by Elsevier. Both the books are currently published in their second editions in 2018 and 2019. Dr. Subramani is also serving as a member of various editorial boards of Orthodontics, Nanotechnology and biomaterials journals.

Dr. Subramani is currently working as an Associate Professor in AEODO/MBA residency program and is actively involved in didactic teaching, research and clinical care to the patients. He is professionally affiliated with American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), American Dental Education Association (ADEA), International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO). Dr. Subramani has presented his research findings in numerous national and international conferences and his research interests include Nanobiomaterials and Orthodontics research. Dr. Subramani was the recipient of the “2016 Robert M. Ricketts Sunflower Orthodontics Fellowship Award” from the American Association of Orthodontics Foundation (AAOF).

Dr. Subramani was awarded the highly prestigious “Milo Hellman Award” in 2019 given by the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO). Milo Hellman Award is awarded to the most outstanding and meritorious research project of unusual merit, related to orthodontics and will only be awarded, when the research has achieved such a distinction. Dr. Subramani is humbled to be the recipient of the Milo Hellman Award from the AAO. Dr. Subramani recently received the Biomedical Research Award in 2021 from the AAOF and is currently serving as the Secretary of ADEA Section on Orthodontics. Dr. Subramani’s personal interests include travelling, working out and spending time with his family.

Eric Wu, DMD

Dr. Wu is a Silicon Valley native and has been practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 13 years. Dr. Wu is best known for his state of the art treatment and keeping up with the latest innovations in digital orthodontics. He is an active participant and contributor for several online study groups and orthodontic societies including the Pitts Progressive Study Group. Dr. Wu serves as both a innovation advisor and key opinion leader for uLab systems. He also serves as a key opinion leader for OC Orthodontics. When he isn’t practicing, Dr. Wu enjoys teaching at both University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Roseman University in Henderson, NV. He also teaches at the Dental Assisting Program at Foothill Community College. Dr. Wu has two beautiful children with his wife Lisa.

Tracey Rogan became a member of the clinical staff at the Orthodontic Clinic at Roseman University in August 2013. With a background in accounting, she is very excited to gain experience in the dental field.

Tracey moved to Las Vegas in 2010 from Tyndall AFB, Florida and was raised in Vero Beach, Florida. Tracey is a proud Air Force wife and mommy. During her free time, she enjoys movies and trying new restaurants.

James M. Broadbent, DDS, MS
Associate Professor of Dental Medicine

Dr. James M. Broadbent joined Roseman University of Health Sciences in 2009 (the first year of orthodontic residency training) as a full-time faculty member in the Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics/MBA (AEODO/MBA) Residency Program. At Roseman, he is course director of several modules of learning. He serves on University faculty senate and several committees. His professional and research interests include phase I orthopedic growth modification, functional jaw orthopedics, accelerated orthodontics, facial esthetics, and air way and temporomandibular joint disorders.

Dr. Broadbent graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Zoology. Dr. Broadbent received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. He completed a dental specialties internship at the Chandler Medical Center, University of Kentucky. He then served as an Assistant Professor of Crown and Bridge at Northwestern University Dental School and practiced general dentistry prior to dental specialty training. Dr Broadbent received his Master of Science (MS) degree and Certificate in Orthodontics from Northwestern University.

Dr. Broadbent practiced orthodontics many years in Provo, Utah, and served as adjunct faculty at Utah Technical College (now Utah Valley University), American Institute of Medical Dental Technology, and Provo College. Dr. Broadbent made a significant contribution to the art and science of orthodontics in teaching numerous continuing education courses, seminars, and presentations at local, state, and national and international dental meetings, and university graduate training programs. Along the way, he was awarded the Joseph E. Johnson Outstanding Table Clinic, American Association of Orthodontists, and twice the (AAFO) J. Robert Bronson Clinician of the Year award.

Dr. Broadbent completed board certification in orthodontics, achieving the status of Diplomate, American Board of Orthodontics. His interest and training in temporomandibular joint disorders and oral facial pain lead to achieving status of Diplomate, American Academy of Pain Management.

Dr. Broadbent has published many articles in several professional journals. He served as president of the Provo District Dental Society, Utah Dental Association annual program, and president of the Utah Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Broadbent demonstrates vision and leadership in community organizations and service. He is recognized as a Kentucky Colonel, Commonwealth of Kentucky; member President’s Club, Brigham Young University; Boy Scouts of America distinguished Silver Beaver; and James E. West Fellow. For more than 20 years he served the Boy Scouts of America; Utah National Parks Council (one of the largest National BSA Councils), as Council Jamboree Chairman; National Boy Scout Jamboree, A.P. Hill Virginia (1985, 1989, 1993); and Chair of highly successful Council Events (1996, 2000) and as Utah National Parks Council Commissioner (1987-2000) and UNPC Vice President Program (2000-2003). He earned the distinguished Eagle Scout and Silver Explorer awards.

Dr. Broadbent is a member of the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, Utah Association of Orthodontists, American Association for Functional Orthodontics, International Association for Orthodontics, and the American Dental Educators Association.

Before joining Roseman University of Health Sciences, he served as attending dentist and adjunct faculty instructor of several courses of education at Salt Lake Community College, Dental Hygiene Program (South Jordan Utah Campus).

Dr. Broadbent is licensed to practice dentistry in California, Nevada, and Utah.

Personal activities include fly fishing, off-road rock crawling motor sports, over landing motor sports, and white water river running.

Prashanti Bollu, MBA, MS, DMD
Program Director, Associate Professor of Dental Medicine, AEODO/MBA Program

Dr. Prashanti Bollu received dental school training from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. Part of the inaugural class, Dr. Bollu received her orthodontic training from the Roseman University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Bollu has received several awards for outstanding academic achievements during her undergraduate and graduate training. Her interest in research was sparked early in dental school and strengthened further during her employment at Boston University during which time she worked with many prominent researchers. She has been involved in several research projects and presented multiple posters at national conferences. Dr. Bollu has been recognized by DENTSPLY and Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society, for outstanding research.

Besides serving as a clinical and teaching faculty, Dr. Bollu was actively involved in growing the research component of the Advanced Education in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO) /MBA Residency Program. As Director of Dental Research for College of Dental Medicine (Henderson Campus), she facilitated all resident and faculty research endeavors. Her research interests include Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), practice management issues, orthodontic insurance coverage gaps and access to orthodontic care.

Currently, Dr. Prashanti Bollu serves as the Interim Program Director for the AEODO/MBA residency program. She also practices in a few private orthodontic offices in the Las Vegas area. Dr. Bollu is a Board Certified Orthodontist and has active professional affiliations with multiple national and regional dental/orthodontic associations including American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and Southern Nevada Dental Society. She has also been a member of the International Association of Dental Research as well as the American Association of Dental Research.
