SUMMARY:3rd Annual Oral Cancer Walk/Run
DESCRIPTION:Oral cancer kills approximately one individual every hour of every day and still has one of the lowest survival rates of any form of cancer\, with only about 50 percent of newly diagnosed patients who will still be alive in five years. Despite many advances in cancer treatment\, many people are still unaware of the dangers of oral cancer and it often goes undiagnosed until it reaches later stages\, which makes treatment very difficult. \nOn April 9\, students from Roseman University’s chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) will host the third annual Oral Cancer Awareness Walk/Run to raise awareness about this disease\, and raise funds to donate to the Oral Cancer Foundation. \nEveryone from the community is invited to join us for the Oral Cancer Awareness Run/Walk\, and stay for free oral health screenings\, raffle prizes\, and more. \nTo register or donate\, visit donate.oralcancer.org/event/utah2016 \nRegistration:\n$25 for General Public\n$15 for Students\n$10 for Children ages 6-10\nFREE for Oral Cancer Survivors and Children ages 5 and under
